November 19, 2004 ADSi completed another installment of it's software for the Knox County Sheriff's Office during the week of November 15.

Both the ImageForce and AVL components were installed and made operational.

The ImageForce software will allow Sheriff's Office personnel to view mugshots from any authorized computer on the network. The Sheriff's Office has installed three mugshot 'capture' stations. Two capture stations will reside at the Detention Facility east of Knoxville, while one station will be at the main jail in downtown Knoxville. The image quality of the mugshots will be greatly enhanced by the addition of the ADSi ImageForce over the previously used mugshot application.

ImageForce, tied to ADSi's Records Management system DataForce, brings a visual component to the textual information captured on an individual. ImageForce is closely tied to DataForce and will display an individual's mugshot when that individual's textual information is displayed.

ADSi's AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) software was also installed during this week. The AVL software allows authorized personnel to view the location of patrol vehicles on ADSi's mapping software, known as MapForce. MapForce can display the simultaneous location of all vehicles in the County or it can focus and zoom to the location of a single vehicle or an individual beat.

ADSi's AVL software can enhance Deputy safety and allows dispatch personnel to send the closest unit to an incident.

The next step in this project is the installation of DataForce for Records Management.

Previously, ADSi's MDTForce software and NCIC interface was installed. MDTForce has been operational in the Sheriff's Office for several months.
