2011 User Conference a great success!

The 2011 ADSi User Group Conference was a success. In view of the difficult economic times, attendance was very good.

Thanks to all of you that attended and a special thanks to your organizations for allowing you to attend.

We, at ADSi, really value the time we spend with our customers in this setting. The opportunity for us to receive your feedback and thoughts for improvements provide us guidance in the future direction of our software and services.

Highlighted this year:
• Web based CAD
• New Image Force
• E-Citation Update
• Automated Driver’s License Scanning and Handheld Update
• Records Mapping
• The all new ADSi Report Writer

• CAD, AVL, MDT’s, Mapping and Mobile Mapping
• Law Enforcement Records
• JMS and Imaging

• Fire/EMS Records
• Court
• Cyber Query

Highlighted were tablet products such as iPad, Android, etc. Many ADSi applications will run on those devices.

Two grand prizes were given away to two lucky attendees. The prizes were an iPad and a Dell notebook computer.

Our guest speaker was highly decorated retired Air Force Lt. Col. Henry Fowler who was shot down over Hanoi, North Vietnam and spent 6 years as a prisoner of war. Col. Fowler shared his experiences with us and was a huge hit with the audience.

A special thanks to Michael Benton from St. Martin Parish for his user presentation to the group.

The reception on Monday evening was well received as the attendees were able to select food from five different food stations each having a different style of food.

Thanks to the 2011 User Conference attendees that purchased t-shirts. We collected $460.00 on the sale of the shirts and with the matching funds by ADSi, made a $1000.00 donation to the Wounded Warrior Project. This is a very worthwhile project and many, many, thanks to those who participated.

The 2012 meeting is scheduled for October 7, 2012 through October 10, 2012 at the Gold Strike.

More information on the 2012 meeting will be posted on our website as it becomes available. Please check at www.adsi.org and make your plans to attend now.
